Outdoor Sound System Installation – Hamilton Township War Memorial Park

JD Sound & Video partnered with Hamilton Township to design and install a permanent outdoor sound system for War Memorial Park, a central gathering space that hosts community events and ceremonies throughout the year.

Project Goals

The Township wanted a turnkey system that could provide clear, powerful sound across the park without the need for temporary equipment setup. Durability and reliability in all weather conditions were critical.

Our Solution

We installed a pole-mounted system featuring:

• Danley OS80 loudspeakers for full-park coverage
• A Danley THmini15 subwoofer for added depth and music reinforcement
• Two Danley GO2 loudspeakers for supplemental coverage
• A Powersoft Quattrocanali amplifier with DSP for optimized performance
• An Allen & Heath GR4 mixer for simple control
• A Shure BLX wireless microphone system for announcements and live use
• A DDB outdoor-rated rack housing all equipment with surge protection and power conditioning

All components were tested, tuned, and commissioned to deliver reliable performance for both speech and music applications.

The Result

The new outdoor system delivers crystal-clear sound throughout the park, ensuring every event — from memorial ceremonies to community celebrations — is heard clearly. With permanently mounted, weatherized components, the Township now has a ready-to-use system that reflects both professional quality and community pride.
