Conference Room AV Upgrade for a Mount Laurel Law Office
JD Sound and Video upgraded a small law-office conference room in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The installation replaced a laptop-centered meeting arrangement with a Biamp VBC 2500 conferencing bar and a dedicated room PC.
The challenge
The previous setup placed a laptop at the end of the conference table. Staff had to gather around its screen, and the arrangement made it difficult to include everyone comfortably in video meetings.
The installed solution
A Biamp VBC 2500 combined the room’s conferencing camera, microphones and loudspeakers in one device. A dedicated PC was installed behind the TV, with a wireless keyboard and mouse for starting calls, sharing documents and controlling the computer.
The new workflow
Staff could use the installed room computer rather than bring a laptop for each meeting. The conferencing bar and display provided a fixed meeting setup for in-person participants connecting with clients and remote colleagues.
Project questions
- Was this a new office build? The published project describes an upgrade to an existing small conference room.
- What changed for the users? The room gained an installed PC and conferencing bar instead of relying on a laptop at the table.
- Does this prove every small room needs the same equipment? No. Seating, platforms and operating requirements should determine the design.
