System Requirements

Highland High School needed a stadium sound system for its updated field.  Part of the project included new bleachers and press box.

The new sound system had to provide coverage for the entire stadium including home and visitor’s stands and field.   Additionally, the school wanted to eliminate renting equipment for graduation and needed a system that could provide sound reinforcement for this event.

System Design

Using EASE Focus, we designed a new stadium sound system.  We used architectural drawings and a Google Earth satellite image to create the optimal layout for the best sound.  Our design team utilized Community’s R-series speakers which are design for this exact application.

    • Community R.5-94Z, R.5HP, and R.15COAX Loudspeakers
    • QSC and Crown Amplifiers
    • QSC TouchMix digital mixer with iPad Control
    • Shure Wireless Microphone System
    • RF Venue Antenna Distribution System
    • Remote audio inputs located at the track for use during pep rallies and graduation

Result

The new high school stadium sound system provides high-quality speech and music reinforcement for the entire stadium.  The system was used for which was used for the 50th-anniversary celebration and was a huge success. The iPad control and field jacks allow the staff to run the sound for graduation without having to rent a system.
