System Requirements

Camden Catholic High School had an older stadium sound system that was pieced together over the years and was improperly installed.  The system only had one functioning loudspeaker, and with a playoff game coming up and the school hosting the Thanksgiving game, a new, reliable system was needed.

System Design

We designed a press box based system which kept costs reasonable while still providing coverage for the entire stadium.  We repurposed an existing loudspeaker as well as one of the wireless microphones.

Featured Equipment:

    • Community R.5-94Z cabinets for the left and right side with an R.25-94Z for the center.
    • Repurposed Community R1 for field and visitor’s stands coverage.
    • Crown XTi4002 Amplifiers
    • Alesis rack-mount mixer.
    • Remote audio inputs located at the track.

Result

The new sound system provides coverage for the entire stadium and is simple to operate.   The new wall-mounted equipment rack freed up counter space and allows the system to be locked when not in use.
