Gallagher Marine Systems Sound Masking
System Requirements
Gallagher Marine Systems had an issue with conversations being overhead and causing distractions. With their combination of cubicles and closed offices, a low noise floor and lack of insulation allowed conversations to be overheard and distract employees. We provide an on-site demo of the Cambridge sound masking solution which allowed them to experience the difference an installed system would make. After a successful demo, we installed a sound masking system throughout the offices and work areas.
System Design
Cambridge Sound Management QT-600 – 6 Zone processor. This multi-output unit will allow for expansion to other areas of the buildings as they grow their sound masking system.
Cambridge Sound Management QT Emitters
These emitters deliver four uncorrelated audio channels, which provide uniform, unobtrusive sound masking. This feature, along with plug and play installation and easy configuration capability, make Qt® systems the most intelligently engineered and most effective sound masking systems on the market today for reducing noise distractions and protecting speech privacy.
Result
The new sound masking system has increased the noise floor, making conversations in other offices unintelligible and therefore, no longer a distraction.
