From new spaces to integrating into historic buildings, JD Sound and Video has provided unique sound systems and video solutions for a variety of Houses of Worship. Room size, seating capacity, acoustics, aesthetic concerns, worship style, and budgets are all factors that must be considered when designing a system for a house of worship.
With volunteers often operating the audio/video systems, it is important that proper training is provided, and the equipment is approachable and easy-to-operate. We work closely with committees to come up with an appropriate budget and timeline and provide continued support and training.
Our team designs and installs sound, video, and control systems for small Churches up to 3,000+ seat cathedrals.
Our solutions include:
- Streaming systems.
- Loudspeaker upgrades including line arrays, column loudspeakers, and flown cabinets.
- New mixing consoles including the latest digital mixers.
- Wireless microphone systems in the appropriate frequency with a properly designed antenna system.
- Assisted listening packages.
Our certified in-house designers, installers, and technicians provide the highest level of service for you and your worship team.

We meet at your space to take measurements, discuss the goals of the new system and review options.
Our design team creates a system design based on the project needs and budget.
We present our design and formal proposal for review and consideration.
Once a project is approved, our engineering team will create a full set of drawings which our install team will follow and markup.
Our in-house installation team will work on fabricating and installation your system based on the design.
Once the installation is complete, we will provide full training on the system use and operation.
