System Requirements

The existing sound system was controlled by an analog mixer and older power sequencer system which was not working well.  Since an operator is not always available, a simple and automated control system was needed.  Additionally, the remote amplifier rack and altar rack needed a single power to control the power.

The new audio processing and control system allows for simple operation with presets and a user-friendly interface.

Saint Marks Church Philadelphia Sound System

Saint Mark’s Church Philadelphia Sound System

System Requirements

Saint Mark’s Church, a historic Church in Philadelphia, needed several upgrades to their sound system.  An older analog mixer and VHF wireless microphones were no longer reliable and needed to be replaced.

System Design

We replaced the analog mixer and replaced it with a Rane digital signal processor (DSP) that features a custom control interface on a wall-mounted touch screen.  This allows any operator a simple way to control the system, and select from a preset.  For the wireless system, we chose Shure QLX-D wireless which provides digital, transparent audio and was a perfect choice for the crowded RF environment of Philadelphia.


Result

The upgrades provide simplified control with reliable wireless performance. 

Church Video System

Life of Faith Church Video System

System Requirements

Life of Faith Church, located in Vineland, NJ needed a new HD video system for the Sanctuary, entrance area, and nursery.  The new Church video system had to provide bright, high-definition images on the existing screens, add a large rear wall confidence monitor and provide a digital video distribution system for the entrance and nursery displays.

System Design

The system operator in the a/v booth can select from the camera, PC, or external source and route it to any display.  Digital signage messages can be displayed in the lobby area while images and text from the worship software can be displayed on the main projectors.

LG 75″ for rear wall confidence monitor

LG 55″ and 32″ displays for entrance

Atlona 8X8 video matrix switcher

Crestron BPC-8 controllers for projectors


Result

The new Church video system enhances the services and added flexibility in being able to show different sources on various displays.
