System Requirements

Brick Memorial High School needed an upgrade to their gym sound system.  One of the old horns was no longer functioning and control of the system was via a rack in a locker room closet.  JD Sound and Video was brought in to provide a solution to simplify control and replace the horn.

Equipment list:

(1) Community Professional ALC-1604 amplifier with a built-in digital signal processor.

(1) Community ISeries cabinet.

(1) Rane Terminal 1010X digital signal processor with 7″ touch screen.

(1) Furman power conditioner/sequencer.

(1) Whirlwind media input plate for connecting a wired microphone and phone.

The new touch panel provides simple control of the system from within the gym and the new loudspeaker provides high-quality music and speech reinforcement.

System Requirements

After our full upgrade at Cherry Hill West High School, Cherry Hill East contacted us to design a new gym sound system for them.  We created a model that showed even coverage for their floor, lower bleachers and upper bleachers.  The system has to provide high-level coverage for gym classes, pep rallies, graduation rehearsals, and outside events.  Control needed to be simple with the ability for wireless control from a phone or iPad.

System Requirements

Eastern Regional High School, located in Voorhees, NJ was in need of a new sound system for one of their gymnasiums.  After contacting us, we arranged for a demo of Community R-series loudspeakers which proved to be a great choice for the venue.  Working with Community’s Technical Application Group (TAG), we created a distributed sound system model to provide coverage for the floor/court and bleachers.  The new gym sound system had to handle daily gym classes, pep rallies as well as graduation rehearsal.

Kingsway High School needed a new gym sound system for their south gym because the old components no longer were working and did not meet the needs of the gym.  As the largest space in the building, it not only it utilized for gym classes and sporting events, but community events, presentations, and pep rallies.  The new gym sound system had to cover the entire gym with intelligible sound and provide full-range capabilities for music playback.

System Requirements

The gym sound system for Clearview High School was failing and wasn’t adequate for the room.  The athletic director contacted us with the task to design a new commercial sound system that would provide high-quality speech and music reproduction.

Our design team created a distributed layout to cover the floor/court as well as the bleachers.  Most commercial sound system the bleachers only, making it hard to hear on the floor.

Triton High School, located in Runnemede, NJ needed a complete overhaul of their gymnasium sound system.  As a long time vendor of the district, and recently wrapping up their auditorium sound system, we were contacted for a solution.
